Every season is show season. During the summer, we host (2) two-day Howard County Horse Show Association (HCHSA) point shows, at least one Jumper Show, and various in-house "fun-day" shows for our students, friends and clients. We also take our students and clients to local area shows throughout the year. Our students learn a lot while they have fun!
 
Oatland Stables is proud to host some of the Inter-School Horse Shows (www.interschoolhorseshow.com). This competitive league gives our local public and private High School equestrian teams the opportunity to compete against each other in a spirited and educational arena.

Oatland also participates in the National Capitol Equitation League (N.C.E.L.) Our young riders compete against riding schools in the MD/VA/DC area on the host school's horses. The aim of the N.C.E.L. is to teach riders how to "catch ride" at a show and be able to successfully equitate and control an unfamiliar horse (See WWW.NCEL.US). Our teams have been very sucessful over the last few years claiming many team and individual year end prizes!
